Several years ago, my Mom, in her mid-70′s, had her hip replaced at Greenwich Hospital. Always spry, she was slowing down and, after much rumination and discussion, decided to go for it. I can happily say that Mom is back to hiking, swimming, world travel – without hip pain. But I do understand the time and effort it takes to make an informed decision to go ahead with such an invasive surgery.
On Thursday, November 5, from 9-11am, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists and patient educators come together at the Greenwich Library to offer a “one-stop” forum to answer all of your questions and concerns about joint replacement. Dr.s Frank Ennis, Brian Kavanagh and Seth Miller along with Dorinn Rodman and Tori Kroll will speak about joint replacement options, new advances in surgery, who are the best candidates and will answer your questions and concerns.
Free and open to the public, but register at 863-4277 or online at Greenwichhospital.org.
