None of these need be expensive, and that’s the whole point of this website.Though this event is out of town, I find it worthy enough to include here. This coming Sunday, October 4th, The New York Times presents a day of Children’s Book Readings by a star-studded cast of characters.
* Pro-ball, Roberto Clemente, Jr. reads one of my all-time favorites, Caps For Sale
* Olympic Gold Medalist, Sarah Hughes reads Kitten’s First Full Moon
* Jerry Stiller, comedian (and George Castanza’s Dad on Seinfeld) reads, appropriately, Bark, George
and many more. If you needed a reason to bring your kids into Manhattan on Sunday, this is it.
