Greenwich Hospital Teddy Bear Clinic
When my son was little, he took his cherished stuffed polar bear to Greenwich Hospital’s Teddy Bear Clinic where he was told that poor Po had a broken leg. No worries. A nice doctor spent time carefully putting that leg in a real cast, much to my son’s relief. On Sunday, kids can accompany their favorite stuffed animals and dolls as their stuffed friends get x-rayed, have sonograms, tour an ambulance, visit the ER and are otherwise attended to by generous health care workers.
