Starting with a shooting on Cat Rock Road in Greenwich, Mr. Gross’s best novel yet is paced at breakneck speed and adroitly combines murder, suspense, and romance as Ty Hauck uncovers an insidious global conspiracy aimed at America’s-and the world’s-financial markets.
In Reckless no one is safe-not the financial executives who wheel and deal in the boardroom, not their families who seem to know nothing, not the innocent bystanders who by accident might know too much, and certainly not the authorities who are paid to protect them. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

This program in the Cole Auditorium is free and open to all. Doors will open at 6:40 p.m. A brief reception will be held with the author in the Cole lobby. He will begin speaking at 7:15. Parking is free in the library lot and on the street after 5 p.m. Diane’s Books will provide copies of the book for purchase and signing.
Description: The Klezmatics are globally-renowned world music superstars and the only klezmer band to win a Grammy award. The Klezmatics emerged out of the vibrant cultural scene of New York City’s East Village in 1986 with klezmer steeped in Eastern European Jewish tradition and spirituality; focusing on contemporary themes such as human rights, anti-fundamentalism and eclectic musical influences including Arab, African, Latin and Balkan rhythms, jazz and punk. In the course of over twenty years and nine albums they have stubbornly continued making music that is wild, mystical, provocative, reflective and ecstatically danceable.
