In honor of Women’s History Month, the Greenwich Historical Society will admit two women for the cost of one admission to its new exhibition, A Stitch in Time: Quilts from the Collection from March 17 through March 21. The new exhibition, which opens on March 3 and runs until June 13, 2010, will highlight 25 quilts in a range of patterns and styles made by Greenwich women during the 1800s. The exhibition explores the historical and technical aspects of these intricate and graphic works, addresses how and why they were made and why they still appeal today.

General admission: $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Admission is free for members and children under 6.
